Fueling Tomorrow

Clients required hydrogen technology systems, e.g.: fuel stations; storage and handling; embrittlement instruments; and electrolysis plants.

My responsibilities encompassed fabrication and coordination. I fabricated systems from P&IDs; managed part inventory; and communicated revisions between the fabrication and engineering shops. Work featured common metal fabrication processes, as well as specialized pipefitting for gas pressures from 5,000-20,000 psi.

Several projects were built, including the HARP system (depicted), which uses surplus renewable electricity in a remote community to produce hydrogen and supply a fuel station and vehicle.
